You can view adopted materials for any course using Textbook Lookup.
Instructor Copies
Some publishers provide free instructor copies upon request and some have to be purchased. Email your request to eaglestore.otc.edu and we can source it for you.

Digital Textbooks Program
Affordable digital books + learning tools delivered directly to students
Available on the first day of class through Canvas. Automatic charge to My Payment Plan, free trial period for all students with the option to opt out.

Open Resource Materials
OpenOTC marks courses that are using free Open Educational Resources (OER). OER can be defined as free teaching and learning materials that are available online.
Adoptions
Department Heads decide what books or materials are needed for a course and submit these to the Eagle Store. To ensure all books and supplies that a student might need are available, please make sure you discuss special requests with your Department Head. Students must have the option to use financial aid to purchase any required materials before the start of classes.
Verba Collect is a tool that is used by the Eagle Store to gather adoption information from Department Heads so that we can provide these items in-store and provide information and expected cost to students via their personalized booklist. If you have not received a link to your selected courses or have questions on availability and format options, please email eaglestore@otc.edu.
You will visit the Verba Collect portal to submit your adoptions or follow the link in your personalized reminder email.
The adoption deadlines are coordinated with the Registrar's office. If you are a decision maker for your department’s course materials, you are responsible for ensuring your semester adoptions have been submitted by the deadline. We can assist with providing review or desk copies. We understand changes do come up at the last minute so please reach out with exceptions.

Consider the content & reach out to us if you're unsure if the edition may be readily available for students
